Before he was a defender of justice in the courtroom or a voice for the people in public office, Bob Fioretti was a young boy in Chicago, learning the fundamentals of character through the Boy Scouts of America. It was here, amidst the shared values of his troop, that Bob first understood the meaning of a promise.

Scouting wasn’t just an activity; it was a blueprint for life. The principles of being trustworthy, loyal, and helpful weren't just words recited in a pledge—they became the bedrock of his career. From his recognition by the National Eagle Scout Association to his ongoing work with the Pathway to Adventure Council, Bob has carried the Scouting spirit into every challenge he has faced.

As we launch Part 1 of Bob’s biography series, we reflect on how these early lessons in responsibility and integrity are exactly what Illinois needs today. The Attorney General’s office requires a leader who remembers his roots and remains steadfast in his commitment to the public good.
