Campaign Update: A Week of Momentum Across Illinois
Friends, this final week of August has been a testament to the strength of our movement. From the historic debate stages in Freeport to the vibrant car shows in Berwyn, we are hearing the same message: Illinois is ready for an Attorney General who puts families and safety first. It was an honor to participate in the Lincoln-Douglas debate series in Freeport, where we tackled the tough questions about the future of our judicial system. The energy was electric, and the civil discourse reminded us why our democracy is worth fighting for every single day.
We also spent incredible time at the Will County Fair, meeting families who are the backbone of our state. The Black Joy Parade in Joliet was a beautiful celebration of community and culture, and the Berwyn Route 66 Car Show showcased the grit and tradition that make Illinois unique.
Back at the office, our animal advocacy meet-and-greet was a heartwarming reminder of the diverse issues that matter to you. As the Attorney General, I will strengthen protections for animals, support responsible enforcement, and advocate for the people and organizations working to prevent cruelty and neglect. I will always stand up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
As you listen to our latest radio commercial during the Cubs games, know that your voice is being amplified across the airwaves. We are building something special, but we cannot do it without your continued support.
